[ Description ]
Summer in Portugal is synonymous with outdoor living. Public benches, seaside promenades, bandstands and city squares naturally become gathering spots for people looking to relax, socialize or simply enjoy the best of the season. However, outdoor dining experiences are still mostly limited to restaurants, terraces or picnics, leaving urban spaces far from reaching their full gastronomic potential. At the same time, the convenience of choosing what to eat, and where to eat it, is not always accessible in public spaces.
Uber Eats decided to turn urban spaces into true “open-air restaurants.” Through QR codes placed on public benches, promenades, bandstands and other city locations, users can order meals directly to wherever they are, expanding deliveries beyond people’s homes and bringing the Uber Eats experience into the heart of urban life.
